The Company was incorporated in Malaysia as a private limited company under the name of ManagePay Systems Sdn Bhd.
The company has three (3) wholly-owned subsidiaries, namely, Multimedia Prospect Sdn Bhd (MPSB), Sina Technologies Sdn Bhd (Sinatec) and Whatdevice (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Whatdevice.).
Business Situation
ManagePay was originally a technology solution provider with business in Java software development, e-business consultancy services, telecommunication equipment sales and Smart Card technologies for mobile operators etc.
In year 2005, they saw an opportunity to develop a recurring revenue income as they have over the years assisted Financial Institutions and large Merchants to integrate value added systems such as prepaid top-up for mobile airtime into our EDCPOS Terminals. From these experiences, they developed competencies in the areas of ISO8583 financial messaging format and EMV compliances for both the EDCPOS Terminals and Host Application Servers solutions. They began to participate in financial institutions tenders and quotations for their Credit/Debit EMV migration projects which required vendors with experience in ISO8583, EMV and EDCPOS. Managepay implemented IDTech hardware iOS reader with their solution already.
Technical Situation
ManagePay using FEITIAN iR301-U for payment, they have EMV Kernel 2 application, through FEITIAN iR301 SDK integrated with them application, through read chip banking card information forward to banking server to do transaction.
For details, they using DUKPT key management, through inject basic key and KSN to reader, to keep each transaction using different session key.
The solution is EMV LEVEL 2 + EMV level 1 reader + Banking server = ManagePay mobile POS.
Solution
Though iR301-U is the latecomer as Mobile POS devices, Feitian has a good pricing and flexible customization policy, ManagePay is the first customer for iR301-U perform as a payment device. To meet customer’s requirement, Feitian specially allocated RnD resources and made SLE4442 support to the reader. Customer is very satisfied with Feitian’s quick help.
